Skinner, the inventor of Hapna, went from savior to destroyer when he announced the brink of human extinction. But, he also claims to hold the key to restoring the health of humanity. A team of people with rare "talents" now chases Skinner to find out how to get the cure. As you can imagine, people in the world population have had various reactions to this news. Each episode reveals something about the origin of the drug, shady investors, or medical practices. The voice cast is good in English, but great in the original Japanese audio. (Things look hopeful for another season)."

"All the trappings of a new classic: Shinichiro Watanabe of Cowboy Bebop and Supercrooks (yes, you should watch that one) fame, music from Bonobo, sleek, cinematic animation from MAPPA house, and an intriguing sci-fi story. The unfortunate delivery vehicle known as Adult Swim has somehow determined a dubbed release was best. Voice acting is mediocre."

"If you are following up on Watanabe's career in general or Cowboy Beebop in particular, this is a must. If you haven't watched any animation, but would like to dip your toes in with something digestible, this is it!"
