"Also called "Lucy Worsley's Holmes VS. Doyle, this three episode series delves into the life of Arthur Conan Doyle, a doctor, 🏥 an avid writer, and the creator of Sherlock Holmes. I really enjoyed learning about Doyle from so many different angles: his marriages, travels, time at war, and his love and hate relationship with the popular character. His drive to want to be taken seriously as a man of action is clear in how he lived his life. This really is a refreshing view of the man we know as the father of Sherlock Holmes and the scientific method of crime investigation. "
