"Unhinged, gripping, and totally #bingeworthy.
MobLand on Paramount+ is everything I want in a crime series — sharp writing, morally twisted characters, and a cast that knows exactly what kind of show they’re in (and you can tell they’re having a blast leaning into it). 💥
Tom Hardy as the stone-cold, quiet, and dangerous fixer is 🔥 — he doesn’t say much, but when he moves, you feel it.
And don’t sleep on Anson Boon. His character is chaotic and unpredictable, yet captivating — he’s pure punk, with a f**k-off attitude and a look that screams major Billy Idol swagger.
The soundtrack leans #punk too — gritty, moody, and absolutely perfect for the vibe.
And let me just say: I would NOT want Harry & Maeve (Pierce Brosnan + Helen Mirren) as my “mummy and daddy.” 😵💫 They’re the matriarch and patriarch of this #twisted Irish mafia drug empire — devious, cold-blooded, and completely unhinged.
But seriously… I need Season 2 NOW!! 🙏🔥

"I'm only 3 episodes in, but I'm hooked. I'm a fan of Guy Ritchie's work, so I knew this series would be for me. But it does have a bit of a different feel than his previous British gangster movies. It lacks the quirky charm and humor from previous work like Sn*tch and Rock'N'Rolla and goes for a more serious and brutally violent vibe. Tom Hardy plays Harry, an enforcer for the Harrigan crime family led by Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren. Harry is soft spoken and polite but his actions are swift and savage. I wish that I didn't have to wait a week between episodes. I would much rather binge the whole series. I'm confident in rating it 9/10 even before finishing it."
"This is a well done, pulpy, star-studded organized crime drama. Tom Hardy dominates the show as the family’s fixer and one man wrecking crew. It’s nice to see him get a role he can sink his teeth into, after a decade of only making bad comic book movies. Pierce Brosnan co-stars as the patriarch and he is uncharacteristically unhinged and creepy in this role. The one performance that tripped me up was Mirren. I’ve been amused by her late career, ironic, “I’m a geriatric bad ass” shtick but she is such a cartoon character here that it drew me out of the show at times. While I don’t think, in general, that there is a ton of genuine emotional depth in this show, it’s an entertaining watch that you’ll knock out in no time.
4 out 5 Stars"

"Haven’t been able to get into this. I gave it three stars because I like the idea of the show. But I can’t get past the first episode. I’ve tried five times. So many people like it am I missing something? I think Godfather of Harlem, Power, Snowfall and shows like that have me spoiled with interesting storytelling. "
"Only a few episodes have aired so far but I’m confident that this will be a new favorite of the year. Originally planned as a spinoff to the Ray Donovan series, it was rewritten into this standalone. Tom Hardy is unnervingly calm, yet insanely intense as the fixer for the Harrigan crime family. (Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren) Directed by Guy Ritchie."
