"If you're a fan of ER, which originally aired on NBC from '91-2009, then you should love this new series on Max. Noah Wyle, who played a young, ambitious doctor on ER, jumps back into a familiar role, but this time as a seasoned, veteran emergency room doc in The Pitt. I've only seen the first two episodes that are available so far, but I can instantly tell this is going to be a great show. It does have some graphic scenes of injuries and trauma, so be forewarned if you're squeamish. A lot of the medical terms and evaluations go right over my head but that only validates the authenticity of it all in my eyes. It's a raw, gripping, and sometimes heartbreaking look at an overcrowded and understaffed hospital emergency department. I look forward to seeing how things develop through this first season. 9/10"

"This was awesome. I remember being blown away by ER when it first came out and this gave me the same vibes. One of the few shows I didn’t mind watching weekly. Fell in love with every cast member and came to the realization that anyone who works in emergency care should be paid millions. My favorite character was Dr King, played so brilliantly by Taylor Dearden. Can’t wait to binge it before the new season, which supposedly will be in 10 months and will take place over 4th of July. Deserves all the awards. "

"I'll give this an A+. This was different from other medical dramas. It takes place in 1 day. Every episode is a new hour starting at shift change at 7am. This is grotty and takes a close look at the flaws in the US healthcare system from the people to the financial barriers. It manages to do this through the stories of the patients and the medical teams who work to save them. This goes from the janitorial staff to the doctor's."

"ER vibe-ish. Takes place in Pittsburgh with Noah Wyle as head of ER. Great cat with lots of nepo babies. Very bingeable! "

"This show needs to play continuously non-stop. Waiting a week is BRUTAL! Very interesting medical series (NOT DRAMA) whatsoever. Absolutely love how they’ve set this up. Show consists of 12 episodes, each episode covers 1 hour of their 12 hour shift. So the whole season is 1 shift in the ER. This isn’t your typical medical drama. This is more .. how an ER would actually run (no pun intended). Waiting for something super OUTRAGEOUS to happen? Only sometimes. 😅 The acting!? My gosh. Phenomenal. Makes you feel like you’re there —in it with them! Robbie (also played on the show ER) makes the pitt run smoothly. The whole premises of this show is incredible. One of the best medical series I’ve ever watched. Excited for the last 2 episodes and season 2!"
