"Noah’s Wyle is outstanding as Tom Mason, as is Will Patton in support as Captain Weaver. A thought provoking series on not only guerrilla resistance on your own soil, but also organization of reconstruction simultaneously while dealing with an apocalyptic alien invasion. This all eventually lead by a former civilian American History teacher. However, by the 3rd season the arc of the show went astray from this premise and turned to a odd focus and seemed much more of a soap opera. The 5th Season, and ending has some redemption, "
