"The tv series was produced in 1972 and the age is on display. Some amateurish camera shots and lack of planning. The story closely follows the Dorothy Sayers book and is quite coherent. I do appreciate the use of regular and odd looking actors- not so many beauties here. The story is told like a play with quite witty dialogue. Lord Peter Wimsey is particularly gifted with gab and sight. Fun for its retro feel and flaws."
