"Just finished the first season of this amazing series that is a master class of acting with an amazing cast. Nicole Kidman, Melissa McCarthy, Michael Shannon, Samara Weaving, Bobby Cannavale, Regina Hall, Luke Evans, Grace Van Patten, and some lesser known actors all have their moments to shine in this dramatic and funny character study. Nine emotionally broken people travel to a remote wellness retreat in search of healing. The mysterious Masha runs the facility and uses questionable practices to obtain results. I don't want to say much more than that as not to ruin anything for those that haven't seen it yet. It's funny at times and emotionally devastating at other times but totally intriguing all the way through. It looks like season two has a totally different cast besides Nicole Kidman, so I may have to edit my review when I see it, but I'm taking a break from it for now. As it stands, season one is 9/10"

"Finally it’s over. I hated the slow drip of one episode a week. The wait was frustrating. Anyways, finally the suspense, the plot, the thrill all came down to a straightforward end. "Disappointed with the ending. I was expecting, or hoping for, something messier or mysterious. Instead, it was a generic (everybody moved on with the ideal scenario) ending. If there is a 2nd season planned, the ending doesn’t make me interested in what would come next. 🤷‍♂️"
