"I have to mention I never read the book so wasn’t sure what to expect in this show. It seems intriguing plus Charlie Hunnam is in it so why not, right? I have to say it started off slow as I had didnt think I’d finish any of it at. It does get better have way though. Lin is a flawed man but he truly wants to do good and really cares about others and making a difference. He’s too good for Karla IMO, don’t trust her. It ends with a cliffhanger but since the ey canceled S2 (due to Covid complications with filming on two continents) I’ll never know how their story ends. I guess I’ll have to google it!"

"(Didn’t read the book or watch the movie) You definitely need time and patience to be invested in this show. It’s soooo long and slow. I’m a huge fan of Charlie Hunnam , so I just had to. He nailed it, like he usually does. Can’t say I have much feedback on this. It’s bland. It does give you a fair idea of the slums in Bombay, the ‘drama’ given the era and daily life. Acting was superb but that’s about it. And the ending “to be continued…”and they’ve confirmed that was a mini-series. 😆👏🏼🤦🏼‍♀️ Not one I’d suggest to a friend.. "
