"What? I am.. there are so many feelings coursing through me, first of all I didn’t know there was a 4th book so there’s that.
Now that I’ve come to terms w it, KEERA’s rage is ALL OUT on this one. She is standing on business for everyone, including Riven and Killian, IYKYK. Man she feels so much heartbreak in this one. As if the shattered blade who’s made herself the sacrificial lamb for her people, for decades time and time again had anything left to sacrifice. But like many times before, we get to see Keera crawl herself back to redemption. Damien is a such a genius mastermind in his torture games! Just when you think he’s been outwitted, he plays to make his opponents lose. The twists and turns in this one are JUICY! I also really enjoyed how we get to dive into Gerarda’s character, and we get to know just how much she was pulling behind the scenes as well.
The writing is so absolutely phenomenal and deep and painful. I also read this while I had Scott’s “Overcome” in a loop on the background…. SETS THE MOOD FOR ALL THE PAIN YOU ARE GOING TO FEEL! You’re welcome.
