"<strong>So close</strong><br/><br/>I thoroughly enjoyed Noah and Chelsie's story. The first book was just so much better than this one. It was good up until about the 60% mark and then it kind of fell apart. These 2 people have to be the dumbest people ever if they truly couldn't figure out who the killer was. If you've read the first book in this duet then it was painfully obvious to you as well. The author really wants the reader to suspend their disbelief enough to believe that neither of these people or the entirety of the police department couldn't solve this elementary puzzle. Throw in Chelsea's "plan" and then Noah sending her to pack up alone immediately after learning she may me in danger instead of going with her and it's some of the dumbest decision making ever written. Truly mind boggling how stupid these 2 were. Fortunately it ends on a high note. I recommend this duet, I just wish the 2nd book had been sharper. Also, why is 13 year old Sam getting his own story?"
