"Not a bad little sci-fi. Definitely unique. CHRONICLE (2012) clocks in at just 84 minutes, though it takes a solid 30 before the story & action kick in. It’s part #teen drama, part #scifi, part #thriller (with a touch of horror)—all wrapped in a raw, grounded tone. Set in #Seattle, 3 #highschool guys stumble upon a mysterious glowing crystal. After exposure, they develop #telekinetic powers, and naturally, things start to escalate. But as the old saying goes: “With great power comes great responsibility.” The question is… will they use that power for good, or something much darker? 🦹🏻‍♂️ #Telekinesis ✨ 6.7/10 ✨ "

"Lowkey probably one of the best “superpower” movies ever made. Yes I’m not using the word superhero because the three protagonists aren’t heroes in any sense of the word. You know that the moment they use their powers to mess with people in a toy store and “dude where’s my car.” That’s what makes this so enjoyable to watch. A bunch of young folk doing stupid stuff with powers. The film does take a darker turn after a ‘certain’ incident and we see a more cynical take on a developing young person getting superpowers. Still a blast to watch. Did I also mention this was a footage movie? "
