"This series, which ran from 2006 - 2008, is a hugely underappreciated crime/drama that had the potential to be right up there with the Sopranos if more people had seen it, IMO.
Set in an Irish American community in Rhode Island called the Hill. Centered around two brothers on different sides of the law, Tommy Caffee (Jason Clarke) a politician and state representative and his older brother, Michael Caffee (Jason Isaacs), a charming but brutal gangster. Surrounded by a rich cast of characters including family, police, gangsters, politicians and assorted degenerates, all trying to apply their own agendas. I thoroughly enjoyed the first season and look forward to watching the other two seasons at my leisure, since it's been cancelled. This is definitely a hidden gem that more people need to see. 9/10"
