"This review may be changed. I am only beginning episode 3. I feel the writers could@have done a better job in telling the story. If I hadn’t seen the Korean version, it might have taken me a minute to realize that the FL was at a reunion. There are several other things that the Korean writers did much better in, but I am enjoying the show. I like the FL so much that I may look up other shows she is in. I’m usually not a fan of JDrama as much as I am KDrama and CDrama. I’m not sure why. "

"I prefer the Korean version because that has more revenge plotlines (it has more episodes and more time to do stuff like that) but I still really liked this version. I liked that they incorporated preparing for Covid with their advanced knowledge, and now I look back and wonder how that could be completely skipped in the Korean version. I like the addition of the grandma and the dramatic snowy bridge scenes."
"Lately I've been looking to watch old 90s or early 2000s J-movies or J-dramas. (for nostalgia and emotion) But when I found out there is a recent Japanese version of one of my favorite K-dramas, I had to watch it immediately.
Review: Before you watch this show, I recommend you watch the Korean version first, and you'll see what was or wasn't in the show. (If you prefer)
The plot is pretty similar to the K-drama, but with their touches to details, some characters, and twists (they were....unexpected to say the least.) This is another drama that once again I fall in love and obsess with the male protagonist lol. Takeru Sato is just amazing and I am going to watch another movie/show of his. "
