"For the most part this show felt okay, but sometimes a bit better than good, and this fluctuation is perhaps because it's immediately clear that it takes after the same story as the movie of the same name, so it's hard not to compare. And while I haven't seen the movie in years, I think perhaps the story could've been adapted a bit differently to fit this elongated version of 14ep better. The main characters hold traits that make them somewhat unlikable, so I wasnt actively rooting for them to be together until the last couple episodes. I could still see myself recommending it to some people. 7/10🥂"
"Broke my heart, but definitely is worth a watch! In my opinion I think the way things went with them was perfect to their story because they had to realize what they meant to each other even if they didn’t wanna accept it in the early years, but the realization scene was perfect."

"This was the one I never saw coming. It was heart-wrenching, bringing tears to my eyes, and created within me a build up of emotion not soon to be forgotten. It was everything I wanted and more. It tells the love story of Emma and Dex, Dex and Emma, one can’t come without the other, over a course of 20 years. They always have the wrong timing or err on the side of miscommunication, but the undying, unyielding strength of their feelings remains. Even as if each time they see each other they were seeing each other for the first time all over again. That adrenaline-filled, heady rush of an incoming big first love, sparking to life, love that never lies between their two beautifully imperfect souls. It is precisely these imperfections that make them into something more human and connectively relatable. When they fight and argue and have the realistic ups and downs of any couple, they always find their way back to each other.
I thought the leads had perfect, meaningful chemistry and that their story deserved every inch of the time it took to get to the devastating climax and resulting downfall and wreckage. This story tore me apart in the best way and really moved me. I craved a happy, resolute ending but it was not to be as the mess and tragedy of life gets in the way, creating emotional whiplash and pain to last a prolonged, distressing lifetime. But isn’t it worth it to have loved and been loved at all? "
