"Another fascinating, yet utterly devastating story. The only thing more frightening than the rape and murder of four teenage girls, is the fact that four possibly innocent teenage boys were forced into false confessions. Amy Ayers, Eliza Thomas, Sarah Harbison and Jennifer Harbison were all executed and left inside a burning yogurt shop on December 6, 1991 in Austin, Texas. It took years to make arrests. When they did, the police seemingly got the wrong guys. (Just like in the case of The West Memphis Three, innocent young people being harassed by cops and forced into false confessions is horribly disturbing.) This horrific case remains unsolved to this day. Featured here are interviews with family members, townspeople, investigating officers, investigating journalists and archived footage of suspects. The chilling documentary is also interesting because it brings up the psychological aspect- how much can a person recall from memory and how much memory is filled in later. Can we really rely on memories? Can we trust the cops to be truthful? This is in four-parts with the final episode airing August 24th. HBO Max"
