"I liked the book, but I didn't love the person who read it for the audiobook. For a long time I thought the characters were super young, but later realised it was just the way she read it. Great plot twist and a quick read. If you loved this book, I recommend The Walls Around Us by Nova Ren Suma. "
"Finished the series on Prime and didn’t realize it was a book so did the opposite of what I normally do and read the book AFTER watching the show. Got to say the book was good but the show really expanded the book and made it a lot better. There’s a prequel already and I think a second book coming out later this year.
Quick read, finished in an evening."
"The story in itself is great; although a bit redundant in the mystery genre. I got a bit tired after 25% because I couldn’t figure out the clues, and everything felt so stretched out. But when the truth started unraveling, the story developed a new meaning. I was mad at the main character, not only for saying “Gat, my Gat” too many times, but for her actions. But, I think that’s the art of literature.
Record to self: finished in 5hrs"
