"3.5/5 ⭐️ I liked this one better than the first but I’m still a bit unsure whether this genre is for me. I liked the cast of characters in this one (even if some are problematic and/or act in dumb ways), and I liked the romance elements as well. However, certain parts of the plot and fantasy world were rather dense and convoluted at times, and I’m not sure how I feel about that. But I’ll still read the next one anyway so I can’t have disliked it that much. <br/><br/>Update: 3.5/5 ⭐️ Again, this reread did a lot for me. I thought the plot outside of the romance was so engaging and loved the addition of Cornelius to the cast of characters."
