A charming and heartwarming new romantic comedy by the acclaimed author of Waiting for Tom Hanks, Kerry Winfrey.Teddy Phillips never thought she would still be spending every day surrounded by toys at almost thirty years old. But working at a vintage toy store is pretty much all she has going on in her life after being unceremoniously dumped by her longtime boyfriend. The one joy that she has kept is her not-so-guilty pleasure: Everett’s Place, a local children’s show hosted by Everett St. James, a man whom Teddy finds very soothing . . . and, okay, cute.Teddy finds the courage to write to him, feeling slightly like one of the children who write to him on his show. He always gives sound advice and seems like he has everything figured out—and he pretty much does: Everett has a great support system, wonderful friends, and his dream job. But there is still that persistent feeling in the back of his mind that something is missing. When a woman named Theodora starts writing to Everett, he is drawn to her honesty and vulnerability. They continue writing to each other, all the while living their lives without meeting. When their worlds collide, however, they must both let go of their fears and figure out what they truly want—and if the future they want includes each other.

"Very Sincerely Yours has a cute setup, but I had a hard time getting invested. There was so much background info on the characters, which is fine, except I wasn't given a reason to care about the characters first. I've enjoyed other books by the other, but I just didn't click with this one.<br/><br/>"
"🖤 The author did a pretty good job with making both characters grow and not just the main one. She also did a great job writing an ex boyfriend that you hate both because he's terrible and because you probably know someone like him. "

"3.5/5 ⭐️ I wasn’t sure about this one when I started it but it ended up being really cute! The premise of this one was really adorable with the male lead a children’s tv show creator and the female lead a fan who begins corresponding with him via emails. I did really enjoy the epistolary aspect of this book and the journey to them meeting in person. I also thought that once they were together they were pretty cute and the third act conflict made sense with what they were working through during the story. However, all that being said, the characters were annoying at times, especially the female main character (though I did also feel similarly about the male lead, just not quite as frequently). While I understood her struggles, it did become a bit old for her to have the same issue coming up repeatedly. I also didn’t like that she was working on trying to discover her own voice but it felt like every decision in this was another person telling her what to do, even if they were supposedly more positive influences."
