"An emotionally volatile main character with an overwhelming number of embarrassing moments (which means ample secondhand embarrassment for me) and unnecessary side-plots (I don’t give a darn about her gross stepbrother’s insta-love, though it was very distracting). No spoilers, but what went down in the locker room really ruined things for me, but definitely not just that. Disappointing."
