"The beginning was already amazing, with the small town and everything. I was sad that one of the characters was only mentioned once, but I don’t know why I wanted him to be in it again because he didn’t need to be. I thought it was starting to get boring but they eventually left the town. Some lines hit so hard and had me thinking. Her perspective was just so amazing. The love interest acted like a toddler but also so madly in love, and it was everything to me. (I imagined him as Dougray Scott with curly hair the entire time.) A lot of this book reminded me of OUABH which wasn’t bad because I loved that book so much. There was one question that was unanswered and that made me a little bit mad but the characters were so good and so was the book. Very cozy read"

"I adore Margaret Rogerson's writing style and her ability to create impossible, charming, simply fantastic worlds. This fae world is immaculate. Even though I read tons of books about fair folk, this one stands out of the crowd thanks to the Craft and fae's customs and courts and Whimsy. I loved every character, every dialogue, every twist. My best autumn read! "
"I was between rating this one 4 or 5 stars then remembered I spent the whole morning reading it…easy choice. One of the fae retelling I can get behind bc the fae are actually not always hot or kind. Each have their own goals and will achieve them in their own ways. But also one of the books which I loved the romance. Highly rec."
