She's a brave, quick-witted, beguiling failure—a woman who ignites Griff's desire and soothes the darkness in his soul. Keeping Pauline by his side won't be easy. Even if Society could accept a serving girl duchess—can a roguish duke convince a serving girl to trust him with her heart?

"Tessa Dare’s Any Duchess Will Do is a charming and witty historical romance that puts a fresh spin on the classic “Cinderella” trope with plenty of humor and heart. As part of the Spindle Cove series, the novel tells the unlikely love story of a grumpy duke and a sharp-witted barmaid, blending comedy, emotion, and undeniable chemistry.

The constant back-and-forth between Pauline and Griffin was frustrating, especially since they both clearly love each other yet kept insisting their relationship is temporary. Their repeated denial of their feelings, despite undeniable chemistry, makes the conflict feel drawn out rather than emotionally compelling. At times, it felt like they’re prolonging their own suffering unnecessarily, which can make the story feel repetitive."
"I loved this book. Tessa dare is definitely now my favorite author. This book has a good amount of steamy scenes as well as a lovely in-depth description of each one lol. There is humor and the banter is lovely between characters. The ending is lovely as well as you get an update on past novels :))). Recommend!!!"
"I’ve now read about 3 books from this author and I can safely say she truly knows how to write a solid romance. I am a particular sucker for a rake/scoundrel and a down on her luck commoner girl in my romances; this did just that ! This reminds me a lot of My Fair Lady as well. The only reason I couldn’t give it a full 5 star rating is because the pacing was a little bit slow at times. However, the slow burn and angst level of this book was amazing and left me at the edge of my seat (especially with the well written love scenes- ie. the library and office scenes). On the whole I would highly recommend checking out this book."
"I didn’t think I was going to like this story. In the beginning I thought the premise of a barmaid and duke to be far reaching. But as I kept reading I realized it was probably the best of the series yet."
