"Unfortunately DNF at 56%<br/>I quite liked the first book and was really looking forward to getting into this one. But this insta attraction/lust/obvious mate thing that’s going on doesn’t interest me. Besides, it makes no sense that the king doesn’t recognize her when she’s “pretending” to be Nadir’s fated, when she’d admitted to being regularly tortured by the king every year. It just felt like a way to get Lor and Nadir into this fake dating, hate love banter thing that just felt rather overplayed and not really believable. Ah well, I guess that’ll be the end of my interest in this one…"
