"The second of my novels in the Queen's trilogy that I experienced. This novel covers Padmè during the very end of her reign as Queen of Naboo and her beginnings as a member of the senate. I liked seeing the dynamic of Padmè and her handmaidens as her political career continued. Seeing her make Alliances with some other important senators early on shows that she was always playing the long game. I also found the epilog haunting and sad."
