"I enjoyed the first one a bit more than this one but this one was still very entertaining! I liked some of the cliff hanger chapters and the new characters it brought in. I think I would be tempted to look in the mirror.

This isn't a fault of the author's but I'm listening to this series via audiobook and was a little disappointed that the narrator was changed from the first book to the second book. The narrator for this book did a pretty good job with the voices but I was very disappointed in her voice for George. I think the first narrator did an awesome job with all three main characters. But the narrator for the second book lacked George's personality. Someone else will be narrating books 3-5 and I really hope they do just as good of a job as the first narrator did in the first book."
"This novel was a great sequel to the first novel in the Lockwood and Co. series. I love that Lucy can speak to ghosts! The fact that the skull was alive during the events being investigated by Lockwood, Lucy and George felt a bit forced, however. Lockwood’s character also felt a bit off from how he acted in the first book, which was a little weird. Unsure as to why?? Apart from that, this book had a solid plot, characters and is a captivating story. 3.5/5 stars."
