"I am officially a fan. There is something about the way in which Lim writes that is just effortless. Unlike so many YA authors that have this tendency towards irritatingly descriptive prose, Lim's style is so natural that reading didn't become a chore.<br/><br/>So, yada-yada, I loved it, but the one downside was that I found it a bit predictable. The villain seemed so obvious that I question the judgement Mercy for not catching on (even with all the red herrings thrown around to distract her).<br/><br/>That being said, Kudos to Lim for the unhappy, happy ending--she's definitely got me hooked."
