What are everyone’s thoughts on this book? I’m attempting to read it and I’m unsure at this moment about it.

Has anyone read Antonia Pozzi? If so, what did you think?
Writers, Authors, or anyone, what is the best writing advice you have ever gotten? I'm attempting to write a book, and everything I write seems bland, and I am losing motivation! Help!
What did you guys think about The Pearl by Steinbeck? What did you feel was the moral of the story?
Hello Classics Corner! It’s time for a reading check in… 📚 What are you reading? How is it going? Love it? Loathe it? Praise or Vent here… #readingcheckin

Any classic books you want to read before the year is over? I think mine is Jane Eyre.
To anyone who is familiar with the Count of Monte Cristo, is there a strong need to read the full version over the abridged (which is still like 400 pages)? I read the abridged back in middle school but don’t remember a ton and would like a reread, but I’m wondering if I should just commit to the full version or not. TIA!
Sorry if this isn’t allowed, I’m just selling a lot of books on Pango. There’s new releases, classics, mangas and every genre in-between. Store link is here: https://pangobooks.com/bookstore/sarah605940
Hello Classics Corner It’s time for a reading check in. 😁 What are you reading? How is it going? Love ❤️ Blah 😑 or Ugh 😣?
I finally have the motivation to make something…if you could have a cutting board (or a charcuterie board) with with a mermaid on it, what books should she read? And what should I have things coming out of the books? Like should I have a squid for “10,000 leagues under the sea?” Or a coffee for Starbucks, the first mate in Moby Dick? Or is that doing too much?
I notice now to leave a written review you have to first leave a star rating, which I find annoying. Also dating reviews is not my favorite since half the time I have no idea when I finished a book. None of this is conductive to a discussion post, but I don’t know where the suggestion box for my complaints is, so I’ll just shout to the sky here.
Topic: I Am A Cat
For anybody who has read this, is the entirety like the first part? I dnf after the first bit once it started talking about hanging. I'm wondering if it's worth finishing after all.
Hey Classics Corner! It’s time for a reading check in. Of course one of my favorite parts of being a host is checking out what everyone is reading. So.. what have you been reading? Love it? Or is it inducing a book slump?

Just finished this book this week. Read a portion of it when I was younger for school and watched the movie and have wanted to read it for a long time. Found it for a good price on eBay and so glad I got it! It was a quick and fun read bought back some memories. Recommend for everyone especially those that deal with children and wonder what kind of impact you have on their lives.
Hi everyone! We had a bad connection for the Grapes of Wrath event going on now. But we are back on. You can join us now, we have fixed it.
Hi, my name is Kaitlyn and I love to write, I thought it would be a great idea for there to be a group discussion where writers of all kinds can share their ideas/ thoughts/ opinions on any and all forms of books, podcasts, screen plays, or anything else that has to do with writing wether it's their own or someone else's. The link to the group will be down in the comments. Thank vou!!

I just started getting into Philosophy. What’s some philosophy books I should read? (I’m already reading Meditations) #philosophy
What’s a classic you think everyone should read at least once in their life? I’ve read to kill a mockingbird, of mice and men, great Gatsby. Anything you recommend?
Books that are adaptations of Shakespeare plays. I’m partial to Hamlet and the tragedies and histories.
Most people in the English speaking world have heard of Shangri-La, but fewer know of Lost Horizon, the James Hilton novel that introduced the idea of the mystical utopia. Many even think that the city is an actual ancient Tibetan legend and not a 1930's English fabrication! In my opinion, this illustrates how influential the novel and its film adaptation were in their time. All that is to say, what are some other books whose elements have become more widely known than the books themselves?
Any good recommendations for novels that have been published than translated to English ? I’ve read a few Russian literature and have recently gotten into South American.
Any recs for translated fiction? I’ve already read a good amount of Russian literature. I don’t care what it’s about as long as it has good characters in it! Thanks in advance for any answers
Im look for book recommendations to try and get into Russian literature. Thus far I have read only crime and punishment , where should I go from there.#
