While awaiting the next fuel truck at a middle-of-nowhere Arizona rest stop, a traveling young knife salesman is thrust into a high-stakes hostage situation by the arrival of two similarly stranded bank robbers with no qualms about using cruelty—or cold, hard steel—to protect their bloodstained, ill-gotten fortune.

"I enjoyed this indie gem that tells the story of a salesman who gets caught up in a hostage situation at a tiny reststop in the middle of nowhere in Arizona. Richard Brake has the perfect menacing demeanor playing the main antagonist. It's a slow burn in the first half, setting up the story and tone, building suspense, as well as character development. The second half rewards the viewer's patience when the tension explodes into a crescendo of violence and bad decisions. I can now add this to my list of hidden gems to recommend to people. 8.5/10"
"I really enjoyed the first 45 minutes of this indie, close quarters thriller. It’s about a group of strangers stranded at a diner as they wait for the town’s only gas station to get resupplied. Two bank robbers, on the run, take everyone at the diner hostage in scenario that feel very similar to the setup of The Petrified Forrest. Even though the characters are probably overly quirky and acting is uneven, the setup works and the tension builds.
Unfortunately, the story takes a turn as it enters its second half that just didn’t work for me and the whole third act was torpedoed as a result. (My thought right after it happened was “That was the least interesting thing they could’ve done”.). Despite it flaws, this film showed that there is some promise in first time writer/director Frank Galluppi. I just wish it had ended as strong as it had begun.
3 out of 5 Stars"

"Kinda Slow. There were too many Choppy and Goofy moments. Had hopes, but just OK."
