"A truly fun #Western ~ Val Kilmer’s portrayal as Doc Holiday was the highlight for me. Kurt Russel played Wyatt Erp, best remembered for his participation in a notorious 1881 gunfight at the OK Corral in Tombstone, Arizona. Both before & after that date, Earp moved from town to town across the West, earning his living as a saloonkeeper, gunslinger, gambler, miner & frontier lawman."

"One of Val Kilmer best performances."

"This probably wasn’t released for critics right away and treated like it will be a bad movie. Since it was from the late director of cult classics like Rambo 2, Cobra and Leviathan.
Not someone you’d expect to make a great Western. Though having a great cast definitely helped.
The movie was so good that a very long epic Wyatt Earp movie released a year later seemed very unnecessary."
"Whoever edited this movie was terrible, re: the 3 legged lady and all the dead people moving (not just breathing actively wiggling feet).
Dunno how much time they had but they should've had longer for character development.
Very much an example of women described as lamps.
My partner who loves this movie did not love my irritation with someone in love with a "I'm not like other women" girl after 2 sightings.
Nor my sharing of his macho men having super fragile egos and historically wouldn't be cringely "tanned" but gay and black.
There are lots of stars in this which is a fun bingo to play but over all pretty meh."
