"Apparently, Robert Shaw wanted to do another aquatic drama after the release of Jaws. In this film, along with Nick Nolte and Jacqueline Bisset, the trio go after treasure from a sunken ship while on vacation. What is most impressive is that Nolte, Bissett, Shaw, and Gossett all did most of the underwater scenes themselves, after receiving scuba diving training for the film. They used stunt doubles for the more dangerous scenes. Their expedition lines up in the cross hairs of a Haitian baddie, played well by Louis Gossett Jr. He has his eyes on another type of treasure that is buried near the sunken ship. 🚢 The acting was good, ad most of the film takes place while diving 🤿. The underwater 🫧 photography is excellent, capturing the fright and elation of the actors. "
