"My teenagers asked me to tag along to see this. Was never a big fan but saw them all. This was ok. Better than all the other sequels at least. "

"Really awesome reboot/sequel. Requel if you will (iykyk). The callbacks to the original movie were really well done and it was an awesome way of passing the franchise torch to a new cast organically. Wasn’t the biggest fan of Sam as the final girl, but Tara’s character more than made up for it. Can’t wait for Scream 6"

"As a kid my cousin roped me into watching one of the Scary Movies (which terrified me) and since I have mistakenly believed that Scary Movie and Scream were the same franchise. So this is the first Scream movie I've ever watched, and I actually liked it. Watching it with other people that you can discuss the movie with definitely helped as we kept joking about things that were happening and then all had the same "ohhh" moment towards the end. Jenna Ortega kinda made the movie for me, and I honestly think without her character my rating would've dropped - which is more a hit to the writing than the acting. I'm actually interested in watching the previous films now, as well as the sixth installation (which I'll probably watch next). 7.5/10 🍣🥢"
