"I definitely think of this film as a life of an ensemble cast film, but there are some great roles for actors. Gregory Hines plays the role of an up and coming tap dancer, whose dream it is to be in the big time, and dances at the Cotton Club. He runs into racial profiling during his relationship with a woman who cares about. Richard Gere and Nicholas Cage also have great roles as musicians and wanna be monsters. Co starring Diane Lane. "
