"this film makes us face the tragic hoops we go through to recreate the magic of being younger. the freedom and the ease of being younger. sometimes we hoard people in our life for the sole purpose of reminiscing. we can’t stomach getting rid of the chance to reminisce. the notebook store monologue was oddly some of the most vulnerable stuff i’ve ever heard. and then the shoulder massage. 2 completely disconnected people trying to share parts of themselves. completely in awe and in love with this & it’s quietness.
