"Kevin Durand of 'The Strain,' and Lucas Haas star as small town police officers who realize that a very ancient creature is loose in the nearby forest. Durand plays the role of the town Sheriff, who is enduring grief from a terrible family tragedy. Lucas Haas is a city boy who decides to start his life over on the town. The plot was fairly suspenseful, and somewhat eerie at times, but it seemed to really hit the mark in the last act. Then...it ended. I was dumbstruck. If there was another 30 minutes, this could have been a much better movie. Overall, the acting was good, and this ticked at least one box to make it qualify as a horror movie. But there is definitely a missed opportunity here. "
"3/5 I liked some of the story but to many character story for side characters I don't think Tim was really needed in this story or the parents being separated it didn't really add or change much of what would have happened either way, I think the ending was pretty predictable and not very unique but I still think it's okay!"
