"Decent follow up to my beloved horror saga ...I wanted something a bit more fun and dark like the old ones but hopefully they will make more. Broke my heart to see now gone legend Tony Todd so frail but still glad to see him go out in a film saga he made so relevant. We are going to miss him but I'm glad final destination is back. Death is back with a vengeance!"
"Super creative kills with some genuinely funny moments and even a few characters that I was sad to see go. Kinda miss the OG main-character-gets-a-vision trope but I'm not totally upset by the slight variation in the recipe. I think its a good film, I enjoyed the added info it gives us and the little Easter eggs. This stacks up pretty well against the others in my opinion and is worth a watch. Made my boyfriend squeamish even though he swore it wouldn't, had me second guessing pennies for a few days too."
"Final Destination Bloodlines is the best of the series. The opening disaster is excellent and quite atmospheric. I also appreciated the dysfunctional family dynamic as well and that the characters do really care for each other. On that note, Erik and Bobby's (my favorites this time around) deaths are absolutely brutal and possibly the saddest. It was good to see Tony Todd - his part felt so personal.
My Final Destination series ranking:
1. Final Destination Bloodlines
2. Final Destination 5
3. Final Destination 3
4. Final Destination
5. Final Destination 2

"25 years into the series, you know going in what you are getting into.
[*Small Spoiler Alert*] Outside of my admitted bias from the first major scene and basis of the plot taking place at the Space Needle in Seattle, which is where I live, I think the film provided a great backstory for what ultimately played out.
Can't knock Final Destination for any irrational things that happened or the improbable ways in which the characters die. Very dark comedy?"
