"James Cagney plays the role of a champion 🏆 boxer, 🥊 Jimmy Kane, who needs to take some time from a busy fight schedule and relax. He meets Peggy Harmon, played by Marian Nixon, and her son at a health resort, and falls for Peggy. After his first big fight in the big 🏙️ Jimmy decides that he wants a high society girl to boost his popularity and ego. The vapid social climber and rich girl Joan Gibson, is played by Virginia Bruce. Jimmy must decide which woman he truly loves, and understands him. There are few funny scenes as he figured that out during the plot. The fight scenes are fun to watch as well. "
