In the 19th century, a young widow named Eva manages a remote winter fishing outpost in an Arctic bay, which she inherited after her husband, Magnus, was shipwrecked. The nearest settlement is three days' march away and inaccessible due to deep snow on the mountain trails. The outpost faces a harsh and brutal winter with rapidly dwindling supplies. Eva and her crew are already living on bait as their fishing catch declines. One morning on the beach, they witness a Basque whaling ship sinking far out near the cliffs known as "the Teeth," which rise steeply from the sea. Eva now faces an impossible decision, as any attempt to rescue the survivors risks depleting the last supplies for her and her men even faster.

"A fishing outpost running low on supplies sees a shipwreck on a nearby rock face. Being so low on supplies they offer no assistance. Later they get an indication that there may be supplies floating in the water so they go to investigate and gather. However, they find there are still survivors out there and have to make the decision again but this time looking them in the eye and dealing with the aftermath of that decision. This is a slow burn psychological thriller than a full on horror to me. They do a good job of building that tension and making things ambiguous enough where we, as the audience, start to question things. I think the ending does pay off. However, it was exactly what I thought it was. I was hoping for something more over the top or unexpected since it was a slow build up. Good performances, good practical effects, and great use of that environment. It just needed a little more to move into the great category. As is it’s a solid thriller/horror that is worth a watch. "Honestly one of the weakest horror movie I’ve seen. Story seems to be simply written yet a bit confusing. The horror doesn’t come from the plot or even the effects but comes from the loudness of this film. Definitely nothing special."
