The Accountant²

"Very few times in the history of movies has the sequel been better than the original. This is one of those times. It's been nine years since the first one, but this sequel has a totally different vibe. It takes a minute to get going, but once it does, it rarely lets off the gas. Ben Affleck as Chris and Jon Bernthal as his brother Braxton have really good chemistry. Their love/hate relationship makes for some great lighthearted fun, against a grim storyline. I much prefer them as allies than adversaries. It was cool to see the genius hacker kids as "his people" that help guide him through technology behind the scenes. Great action sequences where these brothers get to kick ass. Much better than the original IMO. 9/10"

"More centered on the storyline and less about his character in this one compared to the first one. I did like the storyline behind his character in the first one, but it was still good, I personally liked the 1st one better."

"Wildly different in tone than the first one, but not necessarily in a bad way. First, it’s basically a comedy. To pretty good effect. The action scenes weren’t bad. And this is definitely a team effort with Affleck sharing the spotlight evenly. I think everyone knew it was going to be near impossible to measure up but it’s still a good, enjoyable movie. "

"Very good and met my expectations. Some questions were left unanswered at the end; that's probably a hint for a third movie though. The orphan hacker thing was just a little too out there for my suspension of disbelief this go around. I did find it funny that they did the whole cliche- and technically impossible "photo enhance" thing on a low res image, cause that's always been a silly thing in this genre of movies."

"This is how you do a sequel kinda of a bummer anna Kendrick wasn't in this one and we didn't get the continuation of their realtionship but this movie was flawless so really can't complain "
