"Okay it’s a lot to be said about this movie. And I had to rewind to the beginning just to try and get a better understanding. Especially since it’s told in reverse. But this is one of the worse assault scene I ever seen n my life. I actually don’t recommend this movie to anybody at all. I can only imagine what kind of triggers this would cause for some people especially women. I don’t see this as some amazing film. #GasparNoe"

"This is not a horror movie. I want to start by saying this because it is steeped in complete realism. I would give this 5 stars if I thought this is a film everyone should see. With that being said, it is not. The story is told in reverse ala scenes from Memento. Gaspar Noe is a true visionary with an extreme talent for capturing the otherworldly drama that happens in real life. As reviewers have said before, this is a movie you can not unsee. If you are okay with mental impressions being made on your actual psyche, I encourage you to watch this. However if you will not sleep well knowing that you watched what equates to one of cinemas most realistic and brutal crime portrayal, then steer clear."
"Capitalizing on the success of fan fave momento… irreversible tells its story in reverse order, each segment a continuous shot.., I have to say the beginning did make me a little dizzy. And THE scene was graphic and sadly believable. I wish everyone took revenge like these two. Also was pleasantly suprised I recognized some of the actors of this foreign film. "
