BeckAlright, so the writing is good, honestly. But the main character lacks dimension past killing and sex, failing to explain to me why people are fangirling over her. I fail to see any redeeming qualities in the main character that would make her the feminist, girl boss or character to root for that many reviews are trying to display her as. Other than killing and sex, she only eats, writes, and betrays her only allies or friends. Casual antisemitism by either the main character or the writer herself is also blaring in the obsession of the Judiasm of one character and his death. Religion is not mentioned at any other time. Anyway, I actually like the book, but the character is really dislikable(which valid and didn't affect my rating at all) just am weirded out by how many reviews here are idolizing her. Shouting feminism at books where women are terrible and killers is not going to do us any good...?!
