"There’s a 🍄#fungus among us🙀 … and nowhere, it seems, is safe… This new #post_apocalyptic series on #HBO is based on a video game, & it’ll grab you with some thrillingly chaotic scenes🎬 So, buckle up…it’s gonna be a bumpy ride!🚙🧟♂️🔫🩸☠️😱
▪️And watch out for that parasitic mind-controlling fungus! 🧠 it might turn you into a brain-dead, flesh-ripping fiend!🧟♀️ #Zombie #thriller
▪️Full disclosure: I’m not a gamer & have never played “The Last of Us” — I just happened to catch an enticing article about this #TVseries & decided to check it out — The last half of the pilot is less #exciting than the first, but that, of course, probably has to do with the hard work of setting up the rest of the series.
▪️P.S. GOOGLE this phrase: “cordyceps controlling ant brain” — and if you wanna learn some really cool facts about fungi, I highly suggest reading a book called ENTANGLED LIFE by Merlin Sheldrake or check out a very cool documentary called FANTASTIC FUNGI on NETFLIX."
"I am still watching this but so far it’s really good "

"Truly an incredible TV series adaptation. The criticism around the actress pick for Ellie's character is completely unwarranted and simply stemming from the video game loyalists; similar to the Halo series but for different reasons.
I felt this story emotionally, and honestly a few scenes got me in the feels. I think this deserves an Emmy."
