"This is a well-acted and very gritty series about Westminster, England in the mid 1700's. Ian McDiarmid, better known to Star Wars fans as Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sidious in the Star Wars films, stars as new magistrate, Henry Fielding. He and his brother have been tasked with bringing law and order to London. Be warned: ⚠️ This is a very adult and at times brutal telling of what life may have been like for people considered to be if a lier class. Many of the scenes which include brutality also include sexually or nudity. The episodes have to do with law being brought to dark, seedy neighborhoods, and finding those who allow such things to exist. "
