"I’m really enjoying Good Boy, but I have to dock a star for one major reason: the female lead is seriously testing my patience. She’s far too passive when it comes to Dong’s health—it’s clear he’s suffering, both physically and emotionally, and she’s not doing enough to really dig into what’s going on. At this point, she needs to stop waiting around and step into his life with purpose. Dong clearly isn’t the type to ask for help outright, so she needs to recognize that and be proactive.
Also, the beatdowns this man keeps taking? It’s getting excessive. I get that he’s a fighter, but it’s starting to feel more frustrating than compelling.
That said, the drama still has me hooked, and I’ll be tuning in every weekend."
