"This had potential but they threw it away to rush this. The plot is intriguing but each episode is only 10-15 minutes of show. The rest is opening and closing music. I've watched 15 of these episodes and in that time we have covered her history/betrayal with Prince 2, marriage to Prince 1, she poisons prince 2 a couple times, she is tortured by the dowager empress multiple times out of jealousy of Prince 2, prince 1 falls into the river, they search for prince 1, prince 1's funeral, emperor decides to bury her with Prince 1, prince 2 saves her, prince 2 makes her part of his harem, she poisons him a couple more times, they spend a day dating in town, she doubts his part in her tragedy, she saves his life, they love each another again, they discuss what really happened that awful night, someone tries to kill them, prince 1 faked his death, prince 1 wants his wife back, etc. Again I'd like to point out most episodes are closer to 10 minutes long so that is a lot to cram into so few episodes. No plot gets enough time to be fully explored. The dowager empress is the same age as our FL. How did that happen? And why did we only get 5 minutes to explain that as well as her history with Prince 2 before quickly moving us to her relationship potential with a side character. My goodness slow the heck down and tell us a story properly. Instead they rush you to the most obvious next plot so it feels incredibly predictable. I'm going to predict that prince 1 caused the tragedy. Why? Who cares at this point. It isn't like they are going to give more than 10 minutes to tell that plot line so I'm moving on. "
