"A deaf smart woman puts herself at risk as a police informant. She keeps inserting herself deeper in a case. The police are hesitant but ultimately embrace the risk, which seems unlikely. Her utility is initially based on her lip reading ability. I appreciate the exposition of the woman’s daily life and her portrayal as a woman first. The story seems rather improbable. "
