Having been saved by Emperor Dong Hua from a vicious monster attack, Princess of Qingqiu, Bai Fengjiu becomes immensely indebted to him. To repay him, Fengjiu follows Donghua around on his adventures to eliminate evil but unwittingly realizes that her feelings of gratitude towards him has turned to romantic. However, after a hundred thousand years of fighting evil, Donghua has long forgotten the meaning of “love". To protect Fengjiu, Dong Hua sends her to the human world but accidentally causes the death of Fengjiu’s friend. Fengjiu enters the dream of Ah Lan Ruo to search for the fruit that will be able to resurrect her friend. However, Fengjiu ends up getting trapped in the dream. Dong Hua comes to rescue, and realizes he has fallen in love with Fengjiu…

"Very sweet after you get past the big differences between the first season and this one. In Eternal Love they didn't have rights to these characters yet so they just made it up. This is suppose to be more accurate to the book. Try to forget their story line in season one and enjoy the adventure. The cinematography, costumes, sets, etc all were better than Eternal Love. You can also find this under 3 lives, 3 worlds: The pillow book"

"I LOVED this so much but when going into this, forget what you know about Dong Hua & Feng Jiu's relationship from season 1. I don't understand fully but something about season 1 not having copyright for pillowbook? Either way, you will NOT be disappointed. I could not stop watching and it is now one of my very top favorites for Asian dramas."
