"Very dramatic and over the top. Loved the bond and coupling of Lucy lui and her husband in season one. Loved that they brought him back for season 2s narration. Obsessed with lana parilla but not invested in it though. Just a mindless watch for me which saddens me bc I've seen great things said ab this show. "
"Season 1 was a little corny, and mimicked storylines of Desperate Housewives, but it was still absolutely binge worthy. Season 2 episode 1 started slow but at the last few seconds sucked me in. I am genuinely sad that this series was cancelled. I wish someone would bring it back. I’m so curious as to what they would’ve done in season 3. "
"Delightful! I am equally charmed by Seasons 1 and 2. Based on the title, I expected another feminist message, but instead got a colorful bouquet of slapstick, period drama, and narrative voice. (The feminist message is there if you want it. At my age, I am over it.) Season 1 merges three women in the 1960s, 1980s, and 2010s. Season 2 is more of a spoof on detective pulp of the 1940s. A must watch if you like dark comedy or fun sinister. "
