"Intriguing Netflix show... "

"“Duty/Shame”…(2019) is a beautifully-shot and wonderfully-made crime drama, that takes place in Japan and England. A police officer from Tokyo must leave behind his troubled family to search for a fugitive criminal, who happens to be his wayward brother, in London. Things get more complicated from there as he is dragged into a dim underworld. This was a slow-build, but led to a beautiful follow-up. The music and cinematography are stunning, the writing and acting amazing, and the cast incredible. Kelly Macdonald is always fabulous. Takehiro Hira, whom I discovered in Shôgun, is my new favorite actor. And Will Sharpe is the whole reason I started watching this show. Wish there had been a second season, but things were all tied up in the end. Netflix."
