"The Fae Kings Curse by Jamie Schlosser is the first book in a series that I just finished and from start to finish I was hooked I am currently reading the second book The Fae Kings Dream. "

"2.5/5 ⭐️ I’m disappointed by this because I was looking forward to seeing more of these two leads after their exchange in the last book but I wasn’t that into it. I think after the last trilogy (which had relationship development buildup from three books) it was difficult to read about these two leads who knew nothing about each other yet still were somehow infatuated with each other. These two are younger than the leads in the last trilogy and it shows. Plus, there was a lot of exposition dumping as the conflict and slightly different magic was being established in this book. That being said, I do think the magic remains cool, and I like the cast of characters and will still finish this series.

Update: 3.5/5 ⭐️ Second time around I think reading the novella that took place in between the installments in the series really helped my enjoyment of this, so it wasn’t such an abrupt change. The romance between the leads was still a bit instalovey for my taste, but still kinda cute. I liked the female lead more this time around too, as well as the larger story she ends up in."
