"Boring. Skipped a lot of pages just to get through it."

"This world is incredible. These characters are so well developed and I have loved seeing them grow. This book focuses heavily on grief. It’s long but it’s really beautiful and it ended on a sweet note. As someone who thought BJ and Magnolia were toxic and doomed in book one I have completely changed my mind about them and was whole heartedly rooting for them at this point. Overall loved it. Need more Daisy though! She is my absolute favourite. I think there was an open door scene in this book but it was more descriptive of the emotions happening. I would say there is no spice in there books on my scale but there is a lot of implied sex and talk of sex throughout the entire series. "
"Beautiful….happy tears! I slowed this one down because I wasn’t ready to not have another one to read next. I cannot get over this series. Truly the best series I’ve ever read. Smart, funny, dramatic, soulful….I want to start them all over again. It’s just beautiful."

""Magnolia Parks: Into the Dark" is an emotional whirlwind that you won’t be able to put down. Jessa Hastings has crafted a story that’s full of drama, love, and the messiness of life. After a dramatic end in “Magnolia Parks: The Long Way Home,” Into the Dark takes its time to neatly wrap up the story of Magnolia and BJ with a bow.

This book dives deep into the glamorous and chaotic world of Magnolia Parks and her circle of friends. Magnolia is navigating the highs and lows of love, friendship, and the challenges that come with living in the spotlight. The drama is intense, the stakes are high, and every chapter leaves you wanting more.

Magnolia is such a compelling character. She’s flawed, real, and you can’t help but get invested in her journey. BJ is equally complex, and their chemistry is off the charts. The supporting cast is just as intriguing, each bringing their own drama and depth to the story. You’ll find yourself loving some and loving to hate others, but they all add to the rich tapestry of this book.

Jessa Hastings’ writing is captivating and evocative. She has a way of pulling you into the world she’s created, making you feel every high and low right along with the characters. The dialogue is sharp, the scenes are vividly described, and the pacing keeps you hooked from beginning to end. Her writing style is somewhat difficult to put into words but one thing is for sure, you know it when you see it.

The book explores themes of love, betrayal, and the complexities of relationships. As a dual point of view, readers hear from both Magnolia and BJ, giving them a more in depth view of why these characters are the way they are. It’s this complex and somewhat ‘stream of consciousness’ narration that makes this book, and series as a whole, so memorable and one of a kind.

Hastings also gives readers a rare glimpse into the mind of someone grieving a loved one, in a way that feels deeply personal and real. Into the Dark is, in my opinion, one of the most accurate and raw depictions of grief in contemporary literature.

"Magnolia Parks: Into the Dark" is a must-read, serving as the “end” of Magnolia and BJ’s story. This book is one that will stick with you long after you finish it, and will have you feeling like an honorary member of the Box Set IRL."
"This book. I- ... What do I even say? This is probably one of the BEST books I have ever read. Ever. 5/5 stars. Of course, this is how I have felt about every other book in this series but this one is going to stay with me a whole lot longer, I think. It was the perfect conclusion to Magnolia and BJ's love story. I don't think I have ever cried or laughed or just felt this much raw emotion reading a book before. However, I will say, I very much need the next Daisy Haites book. Like ... NOW?? There were so many holes that I need filled!?

Best book I've read this year, easy."

"Everyone has talked about this series as 5+ stars.
They were way too long and repeated so many things and boy did I get tired of hearing who everyone was wearing down to their underwear.
Even after 700 pages it seems like some couples haven’t been wrapped up so I guess there are more books coming?!!?

Just not a series I would be like you have to run out to read. The only reason I am giving 3⭐️ is because I did want to see what happened next but yeah way better books out there IMO.

Added—-
And I will say the back and forth with the side characters between their name and their nickname literally from one sentence to the next was confusing as heck.
So if there is a next book I will for sure probably forget who is whom by then."
