"Elsie Silver is a fantastic writer. However, I don’t think this is my favorite book. I love West and the kids, but some elements of the FMC and her character development made me not vibe with this book as much as the first one in the Rosehill series. "

"4.5/5 ⭐️ Elsie does it again! If she writes it I will almost definitely love it and Weston and Skylar’s story was no different. I loved being back in Rose Hill and Weston’s family is so fun and sweet. I wanted more regarding Skylar’s storyline with her parents. I felt like for how much their decisions impacted her life I wanted something bigger to come of that plot resolution. I almost wanted this book to feel more original. It felt so structurally similar to Wild Love that I didn’t get as swept away in the story as I did in the first book. Don’t get me wrong I had a great time but the setting was the same and there was email flirtations like the last one. The continuity was definitely there I just love when a series of interconnected stand alones makes the world the characters are in feel more in depth from book to book but it felt very similar between the two in this series so far. As usual for Elsie this book has some good spice! 2.5-3/5 spice level! Love this series and can’t wait for the next one!"

"I loved the beginning and the middle but the end I wasn’t impressed… I wanted it to be more but I honestly expected the ending from a mile away. It was cute and I loved their relationship but still I was annoyed reading the ending.. just me? "

"What can I say about Weston Belmont? Talk about Swoon. That character may have very well healed me. Literally the perfect book boyfriend. I loved Skylar Finding herself in Rose Hill. I love that Emmy is absolutely feral. Ollie coming out of his shell was the best! This book made me fall a little more for Ford. Elsie Silver outdid herself with this on. The literal cherry on top was Cherry the bird."

"Every time I read an Elsie silver book I fall in love with the men! Who wouldn't love a handsome man who loves his children so fiercely!! He meets Skylar and immediately goes into hero mode. The banter and love they have for each other was incredible. I do love how much his children were written into the story and how Ollie automatically felt safe around Skylar."
